Natural banana ice cream (Without ice cream)
- 4 or 5 bananas (according to size) of the Canary Islands
- 1 natural yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- chocolate chips (optional)
Peel and split the sliced bananas . We put them in a tray, separated from each other and take them to the freezer, at least 3 or 4 hours. This step I usually do from one day to the next.
Once out of the freezer, pour the yogurt into the blender jar and gradually add the slices of frozen banana In the middle of the process we add the honey spoonful .
If we add all the banana pieces all at once, the blender will have a harder time crushing everything.
Let's crush it all about 10 minutes or so, or until we see that the ice cream remains without pieces and creamy.
Once out of the glass of the blender we can taste it as it is or take it to the freezer a few minutes, so that it hardens more.
It is delicious and creamy, but we can always give it our touch with some chocolate chips or a good drizzle of liquid chocolate, with some nuts or salted peanuts to contrast its flavor, a little cinnamon .. .
We will put 4 or 5 bananas depending on their size. They should not be too ripe but green tampóco; the midpoint is the one that will give creaminess to ice cream.
I use natural yogurt sweetened 0% but you can use natural with or without sugar or Greek. With anyone will be delicious.
To consume it with all its creaminess I advise you to take it out of the freezer a few minutes before.
Do not worry because this ice cream does not make ice crystals, which also contributes the use of honey.
